Still Waters Recovery is a Catholic spiritual companion ministry offering hope, healing and faith-centered support to those affected by addiction. We exist to walk gently with individual and families toward Christ, who alone restores the soul.
If you are weary, burdened, or longing for freedom, you are not alone. Here you will find a compassionate companion, prayerful support, and a Christ-centered path of recovery rooted in the mercy of God and the life of the Church.
The iTHIRST Initiative seeks to provide a remedy to those suffering from addiction. The name comes from the last words of Christ on the Cross, words that also appear in every chapel of the missionaries of Charity, St Teresa of Calcutta's order.
The purpose of this ministry is to walk with individuals and families seeking healing for addiction and life-controlling struggles. My heart for this ministry flows from a deep conviction that recovery is not only about freedom from addiction, but about restoration of dignity, identity and relationship with Christ and His Church.
Recovery is a sacred journey of accompaniment. Through prayerful presence, faith-based support, and connection to the sacramental life of the Church, I seek to provide a safe and compassionate space where individuals can encounter God’s mercy, experience, authentic community, and rediscover hope.
This ministry is grounded in prayer, reliance on the Holy Spirit, and a deep respect for each person's unique story. I am deeply passionate about helping those in recovery knowing that they are not alone, that their lives have profound worth, and that lasting healing is possible through Christ.
Through this mission, I hope to support the archdiocese’s pastoral mission by fostering communities of healing, strengthening parish-based recovery outreach, and helping individuals and families find their way back to peace, purpose and communion with God.
